Vintage Blue & White Cherry Blossom Ginger Jar
Description
White flowering branches stand out against a rich cobalt blue ground on this vintage Cherry Blossom Ginger Jar from Callixto. Hand-painted in China in the 1980s, the porcelain jar pairs a rounded silhouette with a domed lid and a striped border at the shoulder.
Display it on a console, mantel or bookshelf, where its glossy finish and detailed blossom motif bring colour and character to a room. Its classic blue-and-white palette works beautifully with natural wood, pale linens and other collected ceramics.
