Calabash Flat Vase (Amethyst)

The calabash gourd has been used a vessel for ages, its extraordinary shape inspired porcelain vases in Baroque and ancient Chinese times. Menschhorn plays with this silhouette and deforms them in two steps. As a result of this process, Lobmeyr is offering three very functional and special vase shapes. They appeal as a group, but also as a single piece. The vases are available in subtle colours amethyst and rosalin.
