Tibetan Rug - Pink

This is an incredibly rare antique Tibetan rug in an unusual salmon pink colour. It includes all 8 of the auspicious emblems; the Golden Fish which symbolises freedom from restraint, the Vase which contains spiritual jewels, the Endless Know symbolising live and devotion, the Victory Banner symbolising the victory of Buddhism and the attainment of enlightenment, the Parasol to protect from evil, the Lotus flower symbolising purity and perfection, the Conch for the call to prayer and the Eight Spoked Wheel symbolising the supremacy of religious law.  It also includes a ninth emblem of Fire which represents eternal growth, wealth and success.  This Tibetan rug is over 100 years old and in excellent condition.
