Beach Stroll Bowl (Night), 2023 – Glazed Pottery

The quiet atmosphere of Hong Kong's coastline after dark, captured in clay and glaze. Beach Stroll Bowl (Night), 2023 by Anna Smith Pottery brings together deep ocean blues, smoky grey and earthy brown in a softly rounded form.

Flowing blue glazes trace the inner walls, while pale blue and white spiral rings draw the eye towards the centre. Against the dark clay body, these lighter markings recall the rhythm of waves meeting the shore at night.

Made in Hong Kong from fired clay and glaze, this bowl is an atmospheric accent for a coffee table, console or open shelf. Pair it with ivory linen, pale stone and natural wood, leaving its interior visible so the layered glaze can take centre stage.
