Beach Stroll Bowl (Day), 2023 – Glazed Pottery

A small coastal landscape, captured in clay and glaze. Beach Stroll Bowl (Day), 2023 by Anna Smith Pottery draws inspiration from Hong Kong's shoreline, pairing flowing blue glazes with a textured, sand-like exterior.

Deep navy and smoky blue-grey cascade from the rim into cream and earthy brown tones. Inside, rings of blue and white create a quieter rhythm, recalling waves meeting the shore. The contrast between the tactile outer surface and reflective glazed interior gives this piece a distinctive presence from every angle.

Made in Hong Kong from fired clay and glaze, the bowl is an atmospheric accent for a coffee table, console or open shelf. Style it beside ivory linen, pale stone and neutral art books, leaving the interior visible so its layered colours can be appreciated.
